What she treats, and how she decides.
Dr Gigi’s work centres on facial profile enhancement: reading a face as a whole structure, understanding how its proportions and movement produce the thing a patient notices in the mirror, and then deciding what, if anything, should be treated.
That order matters. A patient who arrives asking for filler in one area often does not need filler in that area, and sometimes does not need filler at all. The assessment decides the treatment, not the request.
Facial profiling and enhancement
Assessing proportion and balance across the whole face, then treating what actually drives the concern.
Anti-ageing medicine
Botox, dermal filler and skin treatments chosen for the mechanism behind the change, not by trend.
Advanced skincare
Pigmentation, texture and barrier work on melanin-rich skin, where the wrong treatment does lasting harm.

Enhancement, not exaggeration.
The aim is not a face that announces it has been treated. It is a face that still moves, still reads as itself, and looks like the version of you that had a good month.
That means being willing to treat less than a patient asks for, to say that a treatment is not appropriate, and to explain what will deliberately be left alone and why. A practitioner who treats everything that can be treated is not assessing anyone.
She trains the practitioners, as well as treating the patients.
Dr Gigi directs the BluOrchid Academy, which trains doctors, nurses and other practitioners across six pathways, from a beginners’ course through to the Aesthetic Injector Program. Students have travelled from outside Nigeria to train in Lekki.
Teaching a procedure to someone who will go and perform it on their own patients is a different standard from performing it yourself. It is the reason the clinic’s protocols are written down rather than carried in one person’s head.
Dr Gigi reviews the treatment articles published on this site. Where you see “medically reviewed by Dr Gladys Emokpaire-Oni” on an article, it means she has read it and stands behind what it says. Articles carry the date they were reviewed, because guidance changes and a review with no date tells you nothing.
